Our Journey
June 2017

Our nonprofit, SHE, starts as a school project for our Founder, Payton McGriff, and quickly becomes an international organization
Our first girls' education program launches in rural Togo, West Africa 🌍
July 2017

We hire seamstresses in Togo to sew school uniforms for the first 65 girls sponsored in our program
This expands our mission to include women's employment, increasing opportunity through our paid-to-learn model 📚
2018

We launch the world's only (& famous!) school uniform that grows 6 sizes and 12 inches in length to help girls confidently stay in school longer
Out talented team is unstoppable 💥

About Changemakers Uniforms
We’re not just making school uniforms. We’re rethinking them.
Our story started by turning the now famous school uniform that grows into a source of empowerment for girls in West Africa.
With that same bold energy and deep expertise, we launched Changemakers Uniforms to bring better uniforms to schools everywhere.
Better uniforms. Bigger impact.
